I love Donnelly's Beast sandwich. I moved from the area 8 yrs ago, but make sure I stop in whenever I'm in town.

Best subs in towns! Personally suggest the roast beef or for a breakfast sandwich with egg over medium. Gooey deliciousness 😍

Has a problem with people and service animal's how sad and yells at the people with them in front of customers! Rude and disrespectful I don't care how good your food is if your disrespectful and yell at customers in your facility over service animal's I will never step foot in this place!

Donnelly's Deli and is a great place to get a sub sandwich. they have a friendly staff. This is a cash-only place so just be prepared for that.

5/8 First of what I'm sure will be many great subs. I opted for the "Beast" it was excellent, fresh and super tasty. I"ve been trying a few around here and so far this is the best.The place is Cash only, which I love as it keeps prices down. Many people don't realize that Cards increase prices for all of us.

Great value amazing food, a hidden gem in spring hill. The only thing that can be a problem is the fact for some people is the fact that they close at 6 and dont accept debit/credit cards.

I knew when I walked in; any sandwich I chose would be fantastic. I was right. I had The Beast. An Italian sub with extra meat. Everything was delicious....the bread, Boars Head meats and the veggies. It is family owned, which made me feel good to help out the local business.

I'm a tough customer when it comes to sandwiches, so 5 Stars is a BIG deal for me! And The Beast deserves it! SUPER fresh bread and melt in your mouth INCREDIBLY fresh meats make this hoagie AWESOME! And the potato salad? Fuggedaboutit! DELICIOUS! LOVE the owner, LOVE the vibe and LOVE the service level! So glad to find this gem of a Deli❤

Who only accepts cash today ? Really !!!Just add 5% or more to the order to accept debit or credit cards. You will double your business like every business does. Simple.

A childhood favorite destroyed. I was raised in Spring Hill and grew up on Donnelly’s. My family would go there at least once per week for over 20 years. I am a graduate of Springstead, and used to be proud to call the area home. Sadly I recently went in for a sandwich and was shocked with the rude customer service, and the lack of face masks from everyone in the store (staff and customers). I wondered what was up when the entire world was wearing masks, especially in restaurants/delis. I then looked over and saw the Trump calendar and noticed the entire staff wearing flea market Trump apparel. A deli is not the place to push your political views and safety guidelines should not be ignored when handling food (and this is coming from a fellow Republican). And then to top it off the place was filthy and only accepts cash. WT actual F?Never again!

I cannot say enough good things about this little place. They were awesome! We moved back to the area recently and now live right across the street. The sandwiches and service are wonderful. We will be back!

Going here for 15 years and the quality of the cheese steak has plummeted from 5 star to a 2 star. Last 3 I tried to eat, made me sick to my stomach. I'm sorry for this review but I have to be honest. I used to go here every week. Now I can't go at all. Sorry guys but I can't always eat a cold sandwich.

I’m a huge sandwich guy, get them everywhere I go and in my opinion Donnelly’s is one of the greatest sub shops in the country.

Omg!! This place is a wonderful hidden gem in Spring Hill! Lived here for over a decade and didn't know it existed but so glad we found it thanks to Nick Smith and the Save Hernando County restaurants Facebook page! 😊The food and service is exceptional. Everyone is always super friendly and VERY busy..working hard. I worked in a small mom and pops deli for years and this place reminds me of home. Come out and support Donnelly's...you wont be dissapponited!!

I wonder if it is under new management the bread was terrible and wet and soggy .IHave a friend who got two subs last week and said the same thing and told me they never go back again I probably won’t either I’ve been going there a long time and I go out of my way because they were so good and now they’re so bad I’m sorry to see this.It could be a new help also possibly it will change back I sure hope so

I have lived in Spring Hill for 2 1/2 yrs and tried this lil place, and have to say that everything tasted very fresh I had a cold roast beef with cheddar it was delicious, the price was great! I will be a returning customer with family next time :) oh BTW customer service was great as well!

Walked in today to get a few subs for my workers was greeted with the nastiest attitude and told me we only accept cash here. Folks I have enough cash on me most times to buy this whole in the wall. But thanks I will get my guys pub subs and won’t get mean gestures or looks to order food from an establishment. Unfortunately I have to leave one start because zero is not an option!

Best sandwich place ever Not. Highly recommend this establishment not anymore. Just love their "Beast" . not today though..Update: not today. Bread was stale.. Dressing was 90% oil, american cheese was mushy and did not taste good at all. I bought a pickle and it was rotten inside. You would have thought the person who cut it up would have noticed this? Am very unhappy. Will no longer recommend this place. Will not go here again. Not worth my trip. $13. For a not so good lunch. Never again

We have lived in this town for over 30 years.Never had a bad experience at Donnelly's till yesterday. Haven't gone there in over a year. So I thought I would surprise my husband with an Italian sub. I ordered a ham and swiss and politely asked to have the ham shaved. The Italian had hardly any meat. My husband said it tasted awful. Mine was assembled backwards. Meat on top of the vegetables. Like who does that? The ham was not shaved and we both felt nauseous after eating the subs.I don't know whether to say I am disappointed or surprised at how bad the quality was.
